Other than the "being made in Michigan" comment, I can't think of a thing ( unless, of course, the comment inferring that the Klipsch corner horns sound better).

Didn't the B's have black foam grills?

Give those guys a cigar! It cracked me up that this guy thinks Altec Lansing was named after/built in Lansing, Michigan. James B. wouldn't be amused..... Dave I like your additional observations although they weren't what I had in mind--that replacement grill cloth is UGLY and I wouldn't rate Klipsch above Altecs.....

OK..you got me..Ha Ha. I have been an Altec user/lover ever since my band bought a pair of VOT's used..Back in the 70's we kicked butt proudly with 2 pair per side.
I really do like the sound of my Klipschorns better than the Valencia's.
BTW..what is a fair price for my Valencia's in great shape..and yes the grill cloth is ugly..I guess the doctor that I bought them from 30 years ago thought they were "cool"..LOL.
